Brushland Eating House

Brushland Eating House

We decided to take the extra hour drive up from Spruceton Inn to check out Brushland. We were starving when we decided to go on our quest. When we pulled up, we had no idea what we were about to walk into. This place was perfect, the decor and the music quickly places you in another time. We grabbed a seat by the window and ordered a few drinks and soaked it all in. We made it 15 minutes before they actually opened, which turned out to be a great move on our part because they fill up within the first hour. Before our food made it to the table the entire restaurant was packed and they started turning away walk-ins. This is when we knew we were in for a treat. We ordered the charcoal beats, handmade pasta, and the burger. Every bite we took seemed to be better than the last. It became one of those magical places for us, and will be a place we frequent whenever we are upstate. Oh and major plus, its farm to table!!
