Friendsgiving at Flatrock House

So the holidays are here and it's that time of the year that families get together and celebrate. This year we weren't able to head back to Dallas to be with our families, so we started a new tradition and decided to host Friendsgiving. And what better place to do that than upstate at the Flatrock House.

This beautifully designed rustic home boost 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a well equipped chef's kitchen, media room, record player (with some pretty killer vinyls) and our favorite a wood burning stove.

This property made for the perfect stay for our group of 8. We roasted marshmallows outside by the fire pit, had ping pong matches, went for a hike up Giants Ledge for sunset, and even drove into town to have brunch at Phoenicia Diner.

To top it all off we were there for the first snowfall of the year. We can't even explain how dreamy it was to experience the best of fall and the best of winter all in one weekend. Thanks so much Flatrock House for the awesome stay we can't wait to head back next year for our new tradition.
