The moment we pulled into the driveway we knew we were in for a treat. Shawn and Kris greeted us on their beautiful wrap around porch and welcomed us inside. We dropped our jackets and took the tour of the home. We were so inspired by the amount of detail and attention that they have put into every room. After the tour we headed down to the kitchen for margaritas and chips & homemade salsa (fresh from the garden). We chatted and laughed all afternoon about our travels, great restaurants, and our love for dogs. After a few drinks we headed outside for some chilaquiles and more laughs. While it is the perfect place to host, they are actually working a e commerce site filled with products made by them and other creatives in the Catskills area. It's very clear that this home isn't just a passion project, it's a labor of love and we couldn't have been any happier spending our Sunday here.
