Our Top 10 Airbnb Wishlist
If you’re anything like us, you may find yourself spending hours on end scrolling through homes on Airbnb just to get the wanderlust juices flowing. We are guilty of this all the time and this time we decided to share our top 10 stays around the world that we have been dying to step foot in. Spoiler: We actually stayed in the first Airbnb on the list and we give it the stamp of approval.
We couldnt make a top 10 list without giving you a personal favorite that we so happened to stay in. The owners are friends of the blog so its always nice to support them in anyway . If you’re ever in upstate NY and looking for a cabin to disconnect, Brushland’s Owl Nest is the place for you. Oh, and they also own one of the best restaurant in town, so stop by for a bite and head back to your cabin and cozy up by the fire. Tell em we sent ya!
This airbnb hits a little different because its not too far from NYC. They had us at Panoramic coastline views! And now we’re looking at the calendar trying to secure some dates to spend a few nights in this beauty.
We traveled to Cuba a few years back and we always dreamed of another visit to this one of a kind country. The sunset rooftop views of this airbnb instantly made us want to get back to Havana. It takes up the entire upper level of a 1940 Neo-Classical building, talk about rustic charm and classic details everywhere.
Yes, this is indeed a pod but the experience of staying at Skylodge seem 100% worth it. You see this isn’t your typical stay, a stay at skylodge includes a hike up a mountain to a hanging room in the Sacred Valley of Cuzco, Peru where you’re met with breathtaking views. Their stay packages include dining and transportation options so you’re truly left to enjoy the beauty of nature without having to worry about those logistics.
Even a fear of heights hasn’t stopped us from wanting to stay here.
We know, we know! You’ve probably seen this treehouse 100 times by now but this space looks so charming that its hard to pass up. The reviews state that this is the perfect place to “slow down and get closer to nature,” and we’re all for it. The serenity alone is calling our name.
We’re dying to stay at this magical place.
Soooooo, we found a French Villa in Provence, and the daydreaming hasn’t stopped. This place makes us want to lay pool side with a good book and a glass of Rose from the local wineries. The added bonus is that it’s right in the heart of town and casual strolls can be had at moments notice.
A trip to Greece already sounds like a fantasy, but when you know you’re going to check in to this dreamy stay, it’s taken up a notch. We honestly would spend every waking moment outside staring at this breathtaking view and having meals on the cutest outdoor dining table.
If you havent noticed by now, we are huge fans of design focused airbnbs, and there is just something special when architects open up their homes. This open layout with the living room opening up to the outdoors and the bed hidden behind the staircase would be a fun stay, indeed.
Another tree house, but this time in a beautiful lush setting in Bali. We imagine that the sunrise here is extremely beautiful. Described as a “peaceful stay”, we can definitely see ourselves unwinding here.
This house tucked away in the Santa Monica mountains has us rushing to look at flights. Talk about home inspo on another level. For all the design minded travelers out there, this one is for you.
