If you are from the South like we are (Dallas in the house), then you know good ole’ Cajun food when you eat it. If you haven’t had your fair share in New York then Lowerline is the place for you. This charming restaurant in Prospect Heights is serving up some delicious creole comfort food and we’re completely sold. The Crawfish Etouffee and Roast Beef Po Boy, really gave us that sense of New Orleans nostalgia. Other menu items like the BBQ Shrimp, Gumbo, and raw oysters didn’t disappoint either. With so much flavor and soul we’ll be returning to Lowerline in no time!
