As soon as we got word that James was voted “One of the best brunches in Brooklyn” we knew we had to go. And we’re really glad that we did. Tucked away in Prospect Heights, James takes a seasonal New American approach when it comes to cuisine. At first glance most of the menu seems pretty standard, think avocado toast or Kale salad, but rest assure this is not the case. Each entree was filled with unique flavors that had us “ooohhh and ahhhing”. We couldn’t get over how great everything tasted. A few highlights were the two crispy eggs and the smoked trout on focaccia, be sure to order those if you stop by for brunch. Also, there’s buzz that the burger is top rated! We’ll be returning soon to find out.
