A stay at San Francisco Proper is just as stylish as it is charming. Located in a flatiron-style building, this unique property is beautifully designed by Kelly Wearstler. The 131 rooms feature Aireloom beds (we slept like babies ), great views, and Aesop bath and body products.
The hotel’s restaurants Charmaine’s, Villon, and La Bande are phenomenal and each provides different experiences. We enjoyed Charmaine’s for the lovely rooftop views and cocktails. They have fire pits that make for the perfect cozy evening.
The food at Villon was impeccable and the unique spin on some of the dishes, such as the mussels, is something we can't get over. They were just that good!
While we didn’t get to dine at Le Bande, the overall vibe that we got was similar to that of a laid back Aperitivo hour.
A stay at SF proper is a proper stay indeed and the hospitable staff makes it that much more enjoyable. Check out the photos below.
