There’s a lot of history within the grounds of The Langley. Once a hunting lodge for the 3rd Duke of Marlborough, it is now a luxury stay in the countryside of England. Nearly 40 minutes from London, this high end reimagined hotel is bringing a blend of luxury while keeping its traditional country estate appeal.
As you walk through the lobby you’ll notice the mosaic tile floor that leads to a wrap around staircase. The stairs take you up to the second floor of the main house, which is where we stayed. Our expansive suite came with a spacious king size bed, a lounge area, and the marble bathroom of our dreams. The roll top bathtub is one of the most roomiest tubs we’ve ever been in (we’re pretty tall so this is a big deal).
Around the property you‘ll find tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool that overlooks the Langley lake, and 40 acres of park. Inside you’ll find a chic subterranean spa and a state of the art gym, along with the hotel’s restaurant, Cedar, and the Churchill Bar, where we found ourselves sipping old fashioned’s.
