Sitting on ocean drive, just steps away from the sand and overlooking the ocean, sits The Betsy. A true renaissance hotel that feels like the Miami of old. Its actually the area’s only example of “Florida Georgian” architecture from the 1940s. The most notable detail of The Betsy Hotel is the art. You will find beautiful pieces displayed all over the hotel and bonus, they’re available for purchase. You will also noticed the vast book collection that can be found at the library and in the rooms.
The rooms are extremely stylish and comfortable, and some come with separate living areas and unexpectedly spacious marble baths (Oooh La La). One of our favorite areas on the property was the intimate courtyard pool that’s surrounded by lush palm trees. It made for the perfect hideaway especially with a cocktail in hand. The Betsy is truly a beach-side haven! Here’s our story.
