There’s something very special about Cape Cod. The sense of ease you feel upon arrival, the banter with friendly locals on every corner, white sandy beaches, and all the seafood you could ever want. We visited The Cape for the first time and stayed at the beautiful Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club.
This family friendly resort is massive and has something to offer for any and everyone. They have a private beach, where you can participate in morning yoga classes or just lay out and enjoy. They have 5 pools around the property for whatever vibe you’re looking for. There’s bike rentals, oyster tours, beach fires and more. One of our favorite activities was morning kayaking at Blueberry Pond. Talk about a peaceful morning.
We spent most time of our time at The Mansion, where you can eat, grab a drink on the beach, hang out on the lawn and listen to live music. We really enjoyed watching the sunset on terrace with a glass of rose and some oysters. Did we mention, that the resort is pet friendly.
The grounds of Ocean Edge are beautiful. The Mansion, features the traditional type of hotel guest rooms while The Villages give you more of apartment style living.
Our time at Ocean Edge was spent resetting and relaxing. Should you visit, be sure to book a treatment at the spa. We received a beach house massage and it was the cherry on top of a great trip.
