Who doesn't love a staycation?! We had the opportunity to stay at The Box Hotel over the first weekend of 2018. The temperatures hit a high of 15 degrees the whole weekend, so we were more than happy to cozy up in our loft style room. Our time was spent lounging on the couch or snuggling up in the comfortable king size bed. We ventured downstairs for a few cocktails and some small bites at The Brooklyn Lantern, the restaurant located inside the hotel. What we really couldn't get enough of, was the view of Manhattan. Our room faced the city skyline and it was a real treat to watch the beautiful colors of sunrise and sunset. Although we didn't leave the hotel all weekend, we would definitely suggest checking out some of the restaurants and coffee shops nearby, Greenpoint is such a cool neighborhood.
