When the aesthetics are exceptional, the service is friendly, and the food is delectable, then you know you’ve found a treasure. Bar Laika by E- Flux is just that! This minimalist cafe in Clinton Hill is serving up cocktails, coffee, and dishes off of a Japanese’s centered menu. The Alvar Aalto lighting, and seating by Artek and Vitra adds to the level of design in the space. We dined in on a Saturday morning and ordered the weekly donburi (very appetizing), along with Spanish mackerel and tea. They also use the space for screenings, talks, and readings.
