Alma Hotel
Minneapolis
528 University Ave SE
There’s some really cool stuff happening in Minneapolis, especially in the historic Marcy-Holmes neighborhood. That’s where you’ll find Alma, a boutique hotel, cafe, and restaurant filled with charm. These three buildings are joined together with an elegant timeless decor that flows throughout the space. We loved coming down the stairs from our room to the peaceful chatter of locals enjoying themselves. Above the cafe, are 7 rooms, each different, but with the same thoughtfulness in mind. There’s brick accent walls, modern touches, golden fixtures, and cozy linens. One of the things that really stood out to us was the attention to detail. The bath amenities by Bespoke Body & Wellness, are all made with natural ingredients and really made the time spent in the bathroom feel like more of a spa moment.
While we didn’t get a chance to dine at the restaurant, which serves New American cuisine; We’ve heard from several people that Alma is their favorite restaurant in Minneapolis. However, we did get a small taste of the bakery every morning with our complimentary breakfast room service.
We can’t praise this place enough. If you’re ever in Minneapolis and looking for somewhere to stay, Alma is your spot!
